Franklin's Fierce Females
1 Hour
Don't confuse Southern ladies with shrinking violets. Franklin has been home to scrappy settlers, heroines and spies of the Civil War, a rule-breaking socialite, and a trail-blazing suffragette. From a six year-old child who survived the eye of the Battle of Franklin to then become a famous artist to current Frankliner Lillian Stewart, our first (and only!) female mayor, these women's stories will amaze and inspire you.
